Oh, and it’s obviously got the most gorgeous meaning – the word “luna” of course meaning moon in Latin and a plethora of Latin-based languages like Spanish and Italian. It’s short and sweet sounding, it’s ridiculously cute (in my opinion) and it’s just got a nice ring to it that most names can’t boast. Luna is a stunning name, one which I feel has become a lot more common these days, yet is still not anywhere near common enough to make the name feel like it’s not unique.
